What is RidePe?
RidePe is a Platform providing self drive / car rental service that provides you with all the privacy, fun and convenience of your own car, without the hassles of owning and maintaining one. We drop and pick-up cars from your doorstep, so that you can spend time on the more important thing - your drive! The doorstep drop and pick-up of cars is our standard way of serving you, and is available throughout the areas served by us.
What do I need to Book a Vehicle on Ride Pe?
You need to Possess a Valid Driving Licence for driving Cars / LMV
Am I eligible to use RidePe's services?
To avail RidePe's services, you must be at least 21 years old, and your driving license for "Light Motor Vehicles" must be at least 6 months old and the driving license must be an original hard copy or on DigiLocker at the time of starting the trip. Driving license printed on A4 sheet of paper (original or otherwise), driving license on the M-Parivahan app, and commercial driving licenses will not be accepted. We may ask for additional documents for verification in some cases, e.g., local ID or proof of travel.
Which are the areas where I can avail RidePe's services?
We are currently serving in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Visakhapatnam, Mysore, Coimbatore, Mangalore, Kolkata, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Trivandrum, Surat, Tirupati , Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Nagpur & Vadodara.
Delhi NCR : We are covering most parts of Delhi & Gurgaon and some parts of Noida & Ghaziabad.
We serve the main city and the airport area.
What kind of cars can I choose from?
We have a curated selection of cars, which includes block-buster models across segments such as SUVs, ultra-luxury cars, hatchbacks and sedans. We are constantly increasing our portfolio; so keep a close watch for your favourite car, just in case we don’t have it already.
Can other People drive my Car
Yes, Your friends etc can drive your booked car without any charges but they also must a Valid Driving Licence. You can add the driver names when you book
Can I get the Car Delivered ?
Yes, many hosts offer delivery to travel hubs like airports, train stations, and hotels, or to custom delivery locations. There are cars available on RidePe at convenient locations near hundreds of airports. Skip the rental counter and have your car delivered for pickup and return at your hotel or or nearby location, to save time and hassle on your weekend getaway or family vacation. Some hosts offer free delivery, while others set their own delivery fee.
Is there a "Kilometres limit" to how much I can drive?
This depends on the pricing plan that you select. If you go for the “Unlimited kms” pricing plans (available only without fuel, and only for bookings whose duration is more than 72 hours), there is absolutely no limit to the kilometres that you can drive, and you have complete flexibility of driving the car as much as you want.
Other pricing plans have a "Kilometres limit", Standard of 240Km / day or which varies based on the plan selected. You can still drive beyond the kilometres limit, but the additional kilometres clocked will attract an additional charge.
Do I have to bring the car back to the same location?
Yes. For all the bookings, return the Car to its pick-up location. If you leave RidePe Car away from your Pick-up location, you will be charged up to INR 10,000 in wrong location drop penalties + Car recovery expenses incurred by RidePe until the vehicle is returned to the correct location. Late fees will also be charged at the effective hourly booking rate.
Can I book for any duration of time?
For Self Drive rentals, the minimum booking duration is 10 hours and the maximum is upto 30 days.
For Luxury Cars, they can be booked for a minimum of 2 hours.
Can I book a one-way trip?
As of now , not all locations are available for Inter City, however you can choose different delivery and pickup locations within the same city, without any extra cost other than the standard delivery/pickup charges.

What happens if thre is an Accident?
If there’s an emergency or an issue with the car, call our emergency roadside assistance provider, available 24/7. We’ll make sure you’re safe, then help you get back on your way.
How do I make payments? How does it work?
Online Payment is the easiest way to make payments. While checking out your order, you will be redirected to the RazorPay website. Be sure to fill in correct details for fast & hassle-free payment processing. After a successful payment, a payment advice will be automatically generated to system for your order.
Is your website secure?
Yep! On any page where we ask you to enter your address, phone number, or credit card information, we use secure socket layer (SSL) to encrypt the communication.
Is there any speed limit?
120 Kms/Hr is the speed limit. Exceeding it will attract a penalty for over-speeding. In some states (e.g., Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi-NCR), some cars might be equipped with speed governors, which will automatically restrict the speed to 80Kms/Hr. This is as per government directives.

HOW DO I BOOK A CAR ?
You can access our website and provide the requested information along with your credit card details. You can also register yourself on our Website. It is mandatory to update your documents (valid driving license, PAN, address proof, and credit card details/payment details) to make a reservation or at the time of registration.
WHAT ALL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED FROM ME TO BOOK A CAR?
You will need to enter:
- your name
- mobile number
- valid email address
- a valid driving license, in case you are driving. I If vehicle is to be driven by some other person, then his/her driving license is required.
- PAN
- Address proof – Aadhar, utility bill, passport etc.
- Your credit card details in case you are using your credit card for making the payment. If someone else is making the payment, enter the details of the credit card holder.
CAN SOMEONE ELSE MAKE A RESERVATION FOR ME?
Yes, but you need to be present with the required documents to pick up the car at the mentioned pickup location.
CAN SOMEONE ELSE DRIVE FOR ME DURING MY RESERVATION?
Only the person whose KYC documents along with driving license are submitted while making the reservation can drive the vehicle.
IS THERE A MINIMUM BOOKING CHARGE?
The Minimum Booking charge is for a period of 24 hour.
CAN I PREPONE MY TRIP?
If you want to take the car early, please reschedule your booking. The car is subject to availability.
HOW MANY HOURS IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
You can book the car minimum 4 hours in advance, depending on the availability of the car.
CAN I MODIFY MY RESERVATION?
Any booking modification requests have to be request for a minimum of 4 hours prior to the rental start time. Requests pertaining to car type and rental start & end times will be serviced subject to availability. Request for switching between 120 Kilometre and Unlimited Kilometre packages will not be entertained once the rental has commenced.
CAN I EXTEND MY RESERVATION?
Extension requests have to be made along with the extension details, a minimum of 4 hours prior to the return time by email on info@ridepe.com. You can also call us on our helpline number- +91 99113 26078. The extension is possible subject to availability of the vehicle. In case of non-availability of the car, a charge of INR 300 over and above the hourly rate (as per your car type) will be charged as extension/modification charges.
In case of Subscription, the extension for the subsequent month (if applicable) has to be informed in written to email ID info@ridepe.com at least 7 days in advance before the expiry of Subscription. In case Hirer fails to do so, we will consider the extension as a new booking/subscription
A charge of INR 300 over and above the hourly rate (as per your car type) for every hour of delay will be charged as delay charges.
DO I GET ANY BENEFIT OR CONCESSION IF I RETURN THE CAR EARLIER THAN MY SPECIFIED RETURN TIME?
We regret to say that but we do not offer any discounts for early return of the Car Rental.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
The Hirer can cancel the booking by logging into his/her Ridepe account through the website. The Hirer may send in the details of the booking he/she is willing to cancel by email on info@ridepe.com or call us on +91 99113 26078
For daily rentals i.e. rental period of more than 24 hours: If the booking is cancelled more than or equal to 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time, a transaction processing fees of Rs. 500/- will be levied; If the booking is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time, cancellation charges levied will be the first days rental less discount proportioned across the entire rental duration.
For hourly rentals ie. rental period of less than 24 hours: If the booking is cancelled more than or equal to 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time, a transaction processing fees of Rs.500/- will be levied. If the booking is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time, the entire rental amount will be forfeited.
For Subscription bookings, if the booking is cancelled before 24 hours of trip start time, transaction fees of INR 500 will be deducted. If the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of trip start time, cancellation charges levied will be the first days rental less discount proportioned across the entire rental duration.
If the Hirer, wishes to cancel the Subscription post the trip start time, the entire Security Deposit will be forfeited. In addition to this, pro-rated rental for the period of utilization will be charged.
GST@ 28% will be applicable on all of the above mentioned cancellation charges.
In case the hirer fails to pick up the car as per the scheduled rental start time without informing the MyChoize team about the same, the incident will be treated as a No-Show resulting in the forfeiture of the complete security deposit along with one day hire charges.
The cancellation charges will be adjusted from the rental charges and the security deposit paid by the hirer. The remaining of the total amount paid shall be refunded post necessary adjustments within 7-10-working days after cancellation of the booking.
WHAT IF I DO NOT RECEIVE MY SELF DRIVE CAR ON MY SCHEDULE REPORTING TIME?

WHERE IN INDIA CAN I TRAVEL?
Our cars have an ALL India Permit, so you can drive anywhere in India. (Please avoid bad terrains and terrorism-affected areas)
CAN I DROP THE CAR TO ANY OTHER LOCATION THAN THE PICKUP LOCATION?
1. You must bring the vehicle back to the same place you picked it up from. In case you drop off the car to any other location within the same city of pickup, and you had not mentioned the location beforehand while booking the car, then you will be charged INR 1500, plus the complete hourly rate and the late fees until the vehicle is returned to the correct location.
2. In case the vehicle is dropped outside city limits of the pickup location, the actual cost for transporting the car to the correct location will be charged along with INR 1500, plus the complete hourly rate and the late fees until the vehicle is returned to the correct location.
DO YOU HAVE A 24 * 7 RESERVATION AT ALL YOUR LOCATIONS?
You may book the vehicle at any time of the day either through the website or our contact center. You can pick up/drop off the vehicle at any time from one of our own/virtual locations. However, we do not provide destination pickup/drop off between 23:00 hours to 06:30 hours.
CAN I TAKE A PET ALONG WITH ME?
Some of our guests might be allergic to pets and hence pets will not be allowed in the car. A charge of INR 750 will be levied as penalty if you bring the pets in the car.
HOW DO I END MY RESERVATION?
You will need to return the car with a full tank. ORIX executive will help you complete the post usage checklist and complete the payment process.
